<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtyHtc7r7u8fZfCq51CdnE5FyRNlV5wRy17mjTVm9GMTHO92SAZWh9p3ABSy8CnxG3WyF8x53E5YdkUVFuT6OQaN6ZzOjsxZHUfCle8zm_s7hCCRaF6x8-X_ZN5VH5eJL2EKG_zyotZFqL/s1600/Band+of+Heroes+1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="274" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtyHtc7r7u8fZfCq51CdnE5FyRNlV5wRy17mjTVm9GMTHO92SAZWh9p3ABSy8CnxG3WyF8x53E5YdkUVFuT6OQaN6ZzOjsxZHUfCle8zm_s7hCCRaF6x8-X_ZN5VH5eJL2EKG_zyotZFqL/s320/Band+of+Heroes+1.png" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Sweet art.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<a name='more'></a>All-in-all the game has some high production values that directly relate to the art, graphics and sound, that are well above average and easy on your senses. But what really stands out in this game is the relatively new gameplay mechanics in a 2D shooter.<br />
<br />
Other than the usual shoot-an'-dodge mechanic well known to any decent gamer, available throughout the game will be 5 characters you recruit, from which you will need to choose 3 to accompany you in your enemy-slaughtering adventure. Now every character has some very distinct attack patterns and special abilities that can be activated if they are the leader of your group. Not only that, each character gains independent experience from defeating levels that you can use to upgrade their passive skills.<br />
<br />
With all these very nice RPG elements implemented in the game the player will face a ton a choices, and if you are a completionist a lot of good-ol' grinding to level each character to max level and develop the best team to your play style.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://armorblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/BoH_Screen-450x385.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="273" src="http://armorblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/BoH_Screen-450x385.png" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Awwww yeah some three-way action.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
In conclusion, Band of Heroes is a great new IP that takes some chances with the genra that end up being very successful in my opinion. I sure hope to see a sequel in a couple of months for me too lose some more hours on it.<br />

<a href="http://www.kongregate.com/games/polymerrabbit/frantic-3" target="_blank">Frantic 3</a>, from <a href="http://www.polymerrabbit.com/" target="_blank">Polymer Rabbit</a> is the continuation of the acclaimed old school shooter with the same name. Since there's been a lot of sequels later, the answer remains the same, is this iteration of the IP worth it's name?</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>Those of you who have read this blog already know I'm a big fan of 2D shooters like Frantic, and by big fan I mean I complete every single one I get my hands on to 100%. So it's no surprise I liked Frantic 3, but can I recommend it to you?<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Honestly not really. Although Frantic 3 is a great game in its genra, is does nearly nothing new, and the difficulty is amazingly high! Although I welcomed the spike in difficulty out of this one, I'm sure most flash players that are somewhat new to this type of games will simply punch the screen (gently) and move on.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The mechanic introduced here is the "grazing mechanic". Some items you equip your ship in your traditional upgrade tab activate effects when you graze a bullet. This is actually very interesting because in some situations you are actually pushed into grazing to get some of those nice item procs, and sometimes you will die from this type of overconfidence, but it will be your fault alone.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Bullet Hell!</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All in all, Frantic is pretty a conservative and hardcore game I can only recommend to fans of 2D shooters. The gameplay is standard (dodge bullets, auto-fire, secondary activated fire), collect some money, buy upgrades, and clear levels. What makes it stand out is the outright very high difficulty, but is that enough for you?</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Paper craft shooter here we come!</td></tr>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>First of all let me say I'm a really big fan of flash shooters like Notebook Wars which I really enjoy. But after being slightly disapointed by the first sequel mainly because it was the same game only with different levels, my expectations rose when I saw this was release and just thought "There is no way they did the same with this one, hopefully everything will be new!".<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Well... It isn't. It really, really isn't. Every single aspect of the game is the same as the ones before it. Hell even most of the graphics are entirely recicled. The gameplay is the same, the enemies are the same, the layouts are the same. Only a couple of very slight changes were made: more airplanes, more weapons, and slightly different levels. I can't tell how disappointed I was with Coolbuddy yet again. By all means the game is solid, but this thrown around effortless sequel just makes for a quick money grab. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFbQ-pdIRfI9i5yz7GGeN08r78jfW-ZgUfh6h7wW9Ds0Sr1twwSoK7DzPmvFxFMvJ18t2VgSFtMSdJOl0vrLEShU3LvUPCFmTGdR-QtY0rOl38jhQYu3_B9BCuphj4oziw670YI8BWMkJv/s1600/Notebook+wars+2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="318" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFbQ-pdIRfI9i5yz7GGeN08r78jfW-ZgUfh6h7wW9Ds0Sr1twwSoK7DzPmvFxFMvJ18t2VgSFtMSdJOl0vrLEShU3LvUPCFmTGdR-QtY0rOl38jhQYu3_B9BCuphj4oziw670YI8BWMkJv/s320/Notebook+wars+2.png" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Yes, everything is exactly the same.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I won't go through much trouble here. Everyone has played this before in many ways. You shoot, you dodge, you upgrade and you win. In the end, if you never played Notebook Wars before go do it right now with this one, and be amazed by the sheer imagination of the paper crafted gameplay. If you have go give it a quick look, but if you are anything like me be prepared for quite a disappointment.</div>

<a name='more'></a>The gameplay is quite standard for flash game veterans and connoisseurs. You move around the arenas will you shoot and avoid monsters, with little else to do in the levels. The game tries to set apart from this very explored genra by adding small details such as weapons drops and interesting upgrade mechanics but in the end you have played games like this before, many times.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Each level offers a different set up of obstacles, monsters and a very distinct final boss. Every time you set out to adventure the game sets quests for you to complete such as killing 10 zombies or using a specific gun 100 times. When you complete these quests you are awarded with experience that you need to level up and upgrade your character status. Other than that you collect coins from fallen enemies and you can use them in two ways. You can either upgrade the weapon drops stats such as damage, or you can go to a secret store in which you buy updates whose actual effect is hidden. These can go from passives such as more damage, outright more money, or just some lame strategy advice. Although it may sound weird, this system is actually super interesting and for me, the best designed and creative part of the entire game.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
In conclusion, the gameplay itself is nothing we haven't played a thousand times. It is well designed and entertaining in the most part, but it falls short after a short time playing it. The game tries to be innovative but it does not succeed very well.</div>

<br />
<a name='more'></a>Other than the great concept, the itself is very simple and short. You must defend your base with land and air towers, along with some mines and Nicholas electric gun. The gameplay is divided into 20 short stages, and between them you can access a pretty straightforward upgrade page.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the beginning of each stage you can set up a pre-determined amount of defensive towers and mines while you wait for the alien enemies. After they begin their invasion and infrastructure destruction begins, you'll be able to reconstruct within a set amount of time. Also you have available to you a super charge attack that obliterates your enemy, although the recharge time is so long you can only use once per level in most cases.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>Unfortunately there is no short answer for this one. The gameplay is distinct enough for it to be different from the vast array of zombie racing games available, but its very monotonous and boring. You go from day to day racing along a linear road trying to go as far as possible and running over zombies to build up money for your ride until you reach the end line.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The gameplay is very straight forward, especially after some upgrades. In the beginning you still try to avoid the majority of zombies that appears, but after a while they become so great in number and your car so strong, if simply go ahead and watch them die wave after wave.</div>

<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you have played the previous game you'll be right at home here. And I mean it, as everything is pretty much the same. You'll start with an old and quite upgradable car, and you proceed to drive over countless zombies in an obstacle filled terrain in order to reach the finish line, earning money in the process for your sweet sweet upgrades.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now the game is still pretty fun to play, but is way to familiar for me to really enjoy. And more problematic there is no real challenge involved. You can just leave a weight on your keyboard pressing the up arrow key and go take a coffee that you will improve your record if you bought any upgrades.</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Oh yes, them slow motions.</td></tr>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Not only there is a lack of challenge, this game was also developed for iOS and Android, meaning that if you want to play the full game you need to go to those platforms and pay a small fee for it. All-in-all, although the game has some nice production value it falls flat on every gameplay corner, albeit it is still slightly entertaining.</div>

<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Did you read the captcha above? Did you really? Because man, the guy you play as is a real jackass, I mean seriously, never have I hated a character in such little time. The 30 second intro was enough for me to hate this little masked Ezzio/Alladin wanna-be jerk-off. Basically this guy is jealous because some other half-witted thief is worth more ransom than he is, and so he goes on a life journey around the city to become a more notorious thief by kicking honorable guards in the face and stealing other peoples money, while trying to bang some weird chicks that come ever-so-often in is path of crime. Other than that this game is surprisingly refreshing, which is what really matters in this arcade running game. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
There are no upgrades in here. Yep, that´s right, you'll need to reach the end of the game simply out of player skill, which is awesome and feels very new and different, but does the gameplay actually allow you to improve as player to reach the goal, or does it rely on cheesy gimmicks to keep you playing?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">You'll learn to hate archers, trust me.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In short, yes. The game is very well designed every step of the way as far as gameplay goes, and every time you die you'll feel as if you failed, and you try to learn from your mistakes and try to reach a longer distance in the next run. There are many new mechanics in here to keep that fresh feel throughout the game, and the enemies themselves are varied and keep the danger fresh as you progress through the city. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
You have many special moves: dagger throwing, double jump, slide and a parachute; and you'll need to use every one of them to get to your goal, so none of them feels cheap or just there for fun, they are actually very useful for many different situations. As for the enemies, you kill them just by touching them, but as each one of them as different attack patterns, you need to think of your approach to each one in every situation, while jumping around and avoiding obstacles. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The game is very challenging not to say hard, but with a ton of missions to complete and trophies to unlock you'll keep getting better without really noticing, making this game a joy to play.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">

<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The objective of the game is very simple. You start with a standard and very weak mech, and you have to build it up until you are the world champion in Mecha Arena.For that the gameplay is divided into two phases: the managing phase and the championship phase.<br />
<br />
The managing phase has a lot for you to deal with. From personnel and sponsorship dealings to mech training (very simple and actually boring mini-games) and improvement, all of these actions set on a calendar with fixed dates for your championship match. As you might guess it's pretty lengthy to describe a strategy game like this so I'll skip all the gibber-jabber and move on to the mech battles.<br />
<br />
Your mech is divided into five parts: the two legs and arms and the main body. If the latest is destroyed you loose the battle, but the interesting part is that besides your general HP points, every part has separate statistics, and as in battle you can choose which part to target, the battle becomes very interesting and strategic.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLrYmiX02PjT88VOCQTblxRVgQ6eBeDX5U0abBazjgo726Z5yBclf9DULZwVWbqmSQOKnwNcw4q42mOSRhmL3hQu9_MQFqx-W_HHnYIosmwIJdvEnOlIJbHkn1rn24Wue6hHiv3mdr61Dx/s1600/Mecha+Arena+3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLrYmiX02PjT88VOCQTblxRVgQ6eBeDX5U0abBazjgo726Z5yBclf9DULZwVWbqmSQOKnwNcw4q42mOSRhmL3hQu9_MQFqx-W_HHnYIosmwIJdvEnOlIJbHkn1rn24Wue6hHiv3mdr61Dx/s320/Mecha+Arena+3.png" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The thrills.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Each mech part you add to your robot, besides the typical stats, has more to it that that. Not only do different parts perform different attacks, the game bases its main strategic battle component in a rock-paper-scissors game logic. With three different part brands to choose from, each will have a more effective/less effective effect on the other two brands, and that will be the major part of every battle.<br />
<br />
Unfortunately the managing goes into a stall very quickly, where you just repeat everything you did before over and over again, and with the battles also becoming more a shore than anything else, the game simply falls short as far as entertainment goes. In conclusion, you should check this one out cautiously.<br />

<a href="http://www.sky9games.com/" target="_blank">Sky9 Games</a> finally launched another game. From the makers of many games such as Strike Force Heroes and Raze, comes <a href="http://armorgames.com/play/14047/siegius-arena" target="_blank">Siegius Arena</a>, an action RPG. But does it live up to the studio name?</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Gladiator all up in this biatch.</td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /></td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>The premise of the game is very simple, you are a soldier that was marked as a traitor in the war-time, and are sentenced to death in the arena. The game then lets you play his legend, as you fight through the ranks of the arena until you become its champion.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Right off the bat the production values are apparent, as it is usual with Sky9 Games. The artwork is very familiar but it still works very well, and the animations are well though of and smooth. The gameplay is divided into two phases: the arena, where you'll do all the battling; and the market, where you can access three shops and build up your character, but we'll get to that latter.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The battles are simple in their design. You fight for your life in a rectangular arena, one wave of enemies at a time. You have four different actions: light and heavy attacks, item and magic. After defeating each enemy, their corpse will magically drop gold that you can catch to go and upgrade your equipment in the market district. Although the battle seems simple on paper, Sky9 did a great job adding strategy to it.</div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The very first arena.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The strategy comes from enemy variety and equipment choices. The game will face you up against varied enemies, each with a different kind of AI and equipment, making it imperative for you to deal with each one in a specif way if you want to survive the grueling arenas. Latter in the arenas it actually gets pretty tough and challenging, which is something I was surprised by, as you usually can grind your way up in these kind of games. Not only that, there is an audience system, in which if you please the audience while fighting, you can unleash a special attack that makes you lightning fast for a couple of seconds, dealing death all around. Unfortunately, the battles have a serious problem for me, as sometimes the hit boxes of enemies are very confusing, and that detract a lot from the </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now for the upgrades, you'll be able to shop in three different categories: weapons, armor and magic/items. The armor is pretty standard, as you'll make simple choices between pure armor or more agility. In the weapon department the game starts throwing at you some harder choices. With three different weapon archetypes, you'll need to decide between speed, defense or outright heavy damage, and keep in mind this will drastically affect your gameplay style. As for the magic system the same happens, with three different spell categories, each with a very distinct effect on enemies.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

Always a safe recommendation, <a href="http://www.kongregate.com/games/ConArtists/the-last-stand-union-city" target="_blank">The Last Stand</a> is a adventure/RPG game that still holds greatness even after some considerable age. If you have never played this you should right now, and lets be honest, even if you have playing it again is always nice time spent.</div>

<a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: justify;">
This is one of those though reviews, so let me just say this right off-the-bat: this is a good game. I have, however, some serious problems with it.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First of all is the lack of innovation. The game feels more like an add-on and not a full on sequel. Throwing a new "gem" system and some new monsters into a more than done formula did not quench my thirst while playing. It all just felt so damn familiar. The one real addition is online PVP, but that tires out pretty quickly mainly because you have no control over your party in the battle itself.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Other than that, as I said before, its a good game. You catch and level-up your creatures, making them stronger so you can face your next battle with ease. As they level up most of them have access to ramified evolutions, giving you the option of which path to choose. The leveling up is done by feeding your creatures, and that food is bough with in-game currency, which is preeeeetty abundant in the game.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLjFWw8R6mVhz8LymWV-tJG_m8VgIPXUzvhEPQ35wxBa08U8gqELiGS7LgH4JeJ7ovARI8B2Aat5Dd1J6IdRSzqivgpanUYLSRR9I2prf2D-NEwDcNCjloxg0-RZ572e-t1SGgnYcvNuke/s1600/pocket+creature+pvp+2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLjFWw8R6mVhz8LymWV-tJG_m8VgIPXUzvhEPQ35wxBa08U8gqELiGS7LgH4JeJ7ovARI8B2Aat5Dd1J6IdRSzqivgpanUYLSRR9I2prf2D-NEwDcNCjloxg0-RZ572e-t1SGgnYcvNuke/s320/pocket+creature+pvp+2.png" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The uncontrollable fights.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The story mode is actually pretty easy until those latter levels were you need to actually stop and think through your party design - and that's were the fun is, in finding out nice creature combinations and testing them out in the arena. All-in-all the game is quite short, but after you complete the story you unlock the infinite challenge mode, as well as a good enough party to adventure in the PVP world.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All-in-all the gameplay and the creatures are well designed, as they were previously, and that to me is the main turn-down of this game. Either way go check it out, specially if you didn't play the previous games.</div>

additions to the main gameplay, such as the launch having two phases, one for
each part of the rocket - is to bring some much needed new ideas to refresh the
entire scenery. However, the biggest achievement of this game is also its
downfall.</span></div>

Parallel to the repetitive height and money grind, Into Space 2 introduces missions. These missions not only give you permanent boosts to your rocket, but also unlock the upgrades you can buy, making them a necessity throughout the game. As you unlock these varied missions they quickly become your number one priority, but as fun and refreshing as they are in the beginning, they quickly become a chore.<br />
<br />
Thankfully the developer included the option for the player to skip these missions by buying them with in-game currency, and unfortunately, both for the boredom of most of them as well as sometimes crazy difficulty, I found myself buying all of them.<br />
<br />
Not only that, I felt the game was somehow to long. I know this is a controversial thing to say, but many games in this genra fight to try and keep the grind at least interesting, but Into Space 2 falls flat in the long term play.<br />

Other than the fact that I needed to refresh the game every so often for the frame-rate to go back to acceptable values, this game is pretty solid and manages to stand on its own as a sequel. So be sure to try this one out at the link above.<br />

This is a pretty standard game, with not a lot of production value, but is still manages to produce on-the-spot gameplay for a bullet-hell game that is so needed with tight controls, managing to entertain for a good 15-20 minutes.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Th story is completely set aside by the game itself with a premise so ridiculous I won't even describe it, and with the ambient aside the game itself is quite simple. You need to defeat a certain number of bosses in a row, each with three life bars that represent different levels of difficulty in the bosses, in 10 days. Between these days however, you can access an upgrade shop that allows you to grow stronger and stronger with an emphasis on your play style, meaning you can prefer to upgrade your weapon to dispatch the bosses faster, your life bar so you can make more mistakes, or even your movement speed if you prefer to rely on your mad skillz.</div>

The shooting is automatic so you only have to worry with bullet dodging, which is fine by me because its a genra I really like. So if you enjoy avoiding thousands of obstacles with full concentration give this game 20 minutes of your life, it won't disappoint! The main problem is that it is so, oh so-so short.</div>

The quite experienced <a href="http://www.conceptispuzzles.com/index.aspx?src=colorlinkapixlight&vol=2&ver=web" target="_blank">Conceptis Logic</a> has released a new game called <a href="http://www.kongregate.com/games/Conceptis/color-link-a-pix-light-vol-2" target="_blank">Color Link-a-Pix Light Vol. 2</a>, which is the sequel to the original concept, but is it a good puzzle game?<br />

And the answer is yes. I must say I normally am not really into puzzle games, but the Link-a-Pix IP is pretty sweet and relaxing, perfect for filling up those 5 minutes you have between stuff (or just a work break). </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The gameplay is pretty simple, you just have to connect dots with the same number and color, and the path connecting them must be as long as the number in these dots. The objective behind this is to unveil a picture, but the real pleasure is in figuring out what paths must you do the links.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The puzzles are imaginative and require some concentration, but the innate difficulty is pretty low, which is why I only played this game for relaxing while listening to some good ol' music.</div>

Most of you by now know the Unity Engine. For those who don't let me just say it's a really big thing in this flash game industry, as you can get some really impressive games on that baby, and so, every time I see a release that runs on Unity I immediately go check it out. </div>
<a name='more'></a>Right out of the bat I need to tell that the game is in alpha stage, so I won't actually rate it. Either way Race the Sun is based on a pretty simple and basic concept. You have to race a solar powered vehicle through an obstacle field as far as you can while the sun is out.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
What initially seems like a pretty easy task, one very quickly realizes that the sun is setting and that you are actually racing against time through pillars and weird monsters that you must avoid in order to keep going. The gameplay however has some very nice additions to the very simple chassis: you can unlock power-ups that are quite important for you to go further in the day, and you can also try to collect some point boosters to increase your score.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It also as a level up system that is, in my opinion, quite good because its based solely on the player skills and not on some arbitrary point system. </div>

How about a really good (and time consuming) strategy oldie? For that I recommend <a href="http://www.kongregate.com/games/TogeProductions/infectonator-world-dominator" target="_blank">Infectonator: World Dominator</a> by Toge Productions. In this game you pretty much have to infect and destroy all of humanity with the zombie virus. It's a pretty good game with a lot of humor, so be sure to check it out!</div>

<a href="http://www.iriysoft.ru/" target="_blank">IritSoft </a>is becoming more and more popular with their recent shift to quality games with titles such as the Cursed Treasure IP, and now brings us <a href="http://armorgames.com/play/13880/takeover" target="_blank">Takeover</a>, an interesting strategy game.</div>

</tbody></table>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: justify;">
This kind of strategy game is an old concept, but IriySoft spined it with enough new stuff to keep me entertained along the three story campaigns. The storyline is pretty standard, you play as a commander who basically wants to conquer stuff. And in that conquering, there is fun to be had.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Its quite hard to describe the mechanisms of this RTS, but the one thing I can tell you about the gameplay is that every level has enough to keep you occupied and challenged, especially if you are after those shinny three-star rankings you can earn. Not only that, each campaign has a different controllable race, that will change the gameplay slightly. </div>
<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">A level of the first campaign. Nice stuff.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When you complete a level you are rewarded, according to your performance, a rating from one to three stars, and those stars will affect how fast you can progress through you upgrade tree (also different for each race). That alone pushed me to go back and replay some levels just to have a stronger army for the last levels. As for the levels themselves they are well designed and though of, with each one bringing some different challenge to the table. I'll warn you though, the third campaign has some really tough (yet rewarding) levels.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a>This is an arcade game whose gameplay resembles a number of games before it, from the Indie game Canabalt to more famous games such as Temple Run. You are a thief who needs to amass a not so humble amount of money, and to do so you need to run through a rich guy mansion and collect precious gems while avoiding obstacles.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The game comes with a fully prepared upgrade system you can invest on between runs. The stage where you actually play is divided into three lanes, and you can either jump or duck while you run. The game is however very easy. There is no actual distinction between jumping and ducking because you can do so for every obstacle, and the only challenge is swapping lanes to avoid columns and trying to collect more gems. </div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Gimme my rubiez.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My main problem with the game, besides the fact that its original concept is more than overused these days, is that the level design is so poor. But as level design is random placement of obstacles, what can I mean? I mean that when columns appear - obstacles that you can only avoid by lane swapping - most of the times you cannot perceive on which actual lane the column is placed, which results in completely unavoidable deaths. That being said this game distinguishes itself for not being outstanding in any possible manner. Either way go give it a try, it was entertaining for 15 minutes.</div>
